Harmony Gelish Polish - ‘Tiger Blossom’
Last week I tried out a new brooklyn salon called Primp & Polish, located in Williamsburg. The atmosphere of the salon was super nice and relaxing, and my technician was a sweetheart. The nail artists there do a different technique for ombre nails than any other way I have seen it done before. They use a really thin paint brush and basically do ‘tie-dye strokes’ to the bottom of the nail bed, making the color lighter as it fades to clear polish. (As stated before, clear polish at the bottom of a gel manicure makes your gel manicure last longer, as your nails grow.) This technique took about the same time as my blue ombre #freshmani, and I am equally satisfied. However, I would call this more of a tie-dye effect if you look closely to my nails, but from far away it looks the same as an ombre manicure.
I chose this bright coral orange-y polish by Harmony Gelish called ‘Tiger Blossom’. I love neon polishes, but sometimes think they are a bit much. My coral #freshmani brightens up any outfit with its faded colorful tips. Try it out at a salon near you, or check out Primp & Polish in Brooklyn! Definitely worth the trip on the L train for me.
Suns out, keep those manis fresh and bright…
