BLUE OMBRE MANI
After recently dying my hair a little more blonde/ombre, I was inspired to do something similar to my nails. With no color in mind, I got to Valley Nails and immediately sat down next to this rad chick who had just gotten the freshest BLUE ombre mani. Without a doubt, I knew I needed to copy her.
I got a gel mani, again, so it would last me around 3 weeks. Valley has soo many different gel colors to chose from, as well as glitters that you can get on top of your color gradient #freshmani. (*Kuniko and Karen are my girls at Valley, I trust them with anything that I request.)

A Walking Christmas Present.
For the holidays, I obviously went for a pretty hectic (yet adorable) christmas-y mani. Polka dots, as you can see from previous posts, are always a must. And what reminds you more of Christmas than a big red present bow!? This was my first gel manicure EVER…And it was AWESOME. It lasted for about 3 solid weeks and even looked good as new on the third week. (TIP: When getting a gel mani, make sure to moisturize your hands frequently and put cuticle oil on your cuticles to ensure that your nails don’t get damaged from the gel polish.)
Of course, I went to @ValleyNYC (where else?!) and I used the classic white gel polish with red acrylic nail art paint. This manicure did run me about 90 bucks, but the artists at Valley do an excellent job, keeping your nails looking SO fresh for a couple weeks. Totally worth every penny. Treat yourself to a nice gel manicure, I promise you will not regret it.

Festive & Fresh.

I wanted a simple festive mani, without the typical burgundy/red…so I chose this purple/pink/red-ish color by Essie called ‘Bahama’. (Just one color sort of bores me after a couple of days…so I’ll probably add a gold tip to turn it into a metallic french!) xx

Shop ‘Bahama’ at www.essie.com!

Cocktail Bling…literally
The name of this new Essie Winter Collection polish, 'Cocktail Bling' gave me a great reason to use some rhinestones. After I finished my thumb, I was extremely tempted to bedazzle all 10 fingers, but I needed to show you this grey/blue polish. A must-have for a winter #freshmani. (Don’t worry, 10 bedazzled fingers soon to come!)
The rhinestones were purchased at Duane Reade. (they come with glue, but I always get away with just using top coat.)

Summer Pink OMBRE Mani
After receiving a nice little package from Essie of a variety of girly pinks, I found trouble choosing just one color. Soooo… I used them all! I put 5 shades which I thought were closest to one another into a little row and came out with a real summer-y and super girly fresh OMBRE mani.
I used (from pinky to thumb) Watermelon, Bachelor Bash, Fiesta, Secret Story, & Mob Square … but feel free to pick your own ombre combo! xx

Nail Art now made easy!

This #freshmani took place moments after I bought out every color of the new Nail Art polish by Sinful Colors at Rite Aid. Thank you nail polish lords for coming out with these $1.99 nail art polishes in nearly every color! I thought 'Licorice' by Essie would look dope as a base color, with a fun neon and metallic to brighten up the mani. I honestly just doodled on each nail without any plan but it came out pretty cool! The thin brushes that come with the nail art polishes are super easy to work with, as long as you have a steady hand (and imagination). Stay fresh ladies…

BABYDOLL BOWS

With an obsession for bows and polka dots, I decided this past week to show the girly in me. A trip to Valley Nails did the trick, as always. I chose RGB polish (yet again), in color ‘White’ and used acrylic paints for the bows. The RGB ‘White’ is super opaque and a great base for most nail art designs. Trench Coat/Coffee Bean Mani
The cold/rainy weather last week inspired me to get a #freshmani that I knew would match my everyday trench coat wear and coffee sipping. I chose the RGB ‘Camel’ polish as a base color and black glitter on the tips with a touch of rainbow glitter to make it sparkle a little more.

POLKA-DOTS FOR DAYS

For my birthday this week, I treated myself to some fun nail art at Valley NYC. Valley has the best of the best manicurists, as well as so many polish and art options to choose from.

I chose the color ‘Pool' from the Matte Collection of KnockOut Cosmetics with little white polka dots to top it off. Knock Out was the first nail company to launch a Matte Collection and they have the hottest colors. (some of my other favorites are ‘Lili' and 'Flatte Black’.)

Happy Birthday to Meeee!
